Solve the following system of linear equations by graphing.

$
Step 1) rewrite each equation in slope intercept form.
$$
\text{ A) } 2y = 4x + 2
\\
\frac{1}{2} 2y = \frac{1}{2}(4x+2)
\\
y = 2x +1
$$

2y = 8x  2
\\
\frac{1}{2} 2y = \frac{1}{2}( 8x  2)

y = 4x +1
$$

This system of lines is the same system that we looked at in the last example.
