How do we solve ratio problems?

Ratio 

Definition: A comparison between quantities using division.
Examples : 3:2 , 3:2:88, 3 to 2, 3 to 2 to 88

A 2 to 5 ratio can be represented as 2:5

A ration between X and Y can be written
